Keira O'Toole - Art Business Teacher
Kiera is an artist with an Irish lilt who is giving excellent courses on Art Business through the TAFE Outreach programme.
Without her generous input Vincent and many others would not be entering into the world of commercial art.
It was Kiera who suggested that Vincent start using an ink pen, and he hasn't looked back since. www.kieraotoole.com

Multi Arts Confederation Inc Central Coast
Their website is not the easiest to navigate, but the information about all forms of creativity on the Central Coast is first rate. The monthly magazine they publish is brilliant and contains information about What's On, Exhibitions, Competitions to Enter, Classes, Workshops, local Arts&Crafts Societies and much more. Advertising rates in the magazine are very reasonable. www.mac.ccoast.org
Fusion Arts - Arts Culture and Creative Industries on the Central Coast NSW Australia
The best part of their website is the Arts Directory, a place for those with creative talent to profile their work and for those looking for specialized creative talent to find them. Fusion Arts is also a resource for artists of all types needing help with insurance, funding and business development. The new Arts Barn at Kariong is a joint effort between Fusion Arts and Brackets and Jam. www.fusionarts.org.au
Central Coast Art Society
The organisational ability of this Society at the Gosford Regional Show was impressive. They knew what they were doing, had all the paperwork in order, and did it well. Their website showcases the talents of local artists through their Members sub-page, where 5 or 6 artworks per member can be viewed. The society also runs in-house workshops at the Gosford Regional Gallery and regular Paint-Out days at local scenic spots.
This merry band of volunteers uses their creative talents to cheer those who are ill and suffering. Canvases are prepared for use in occupational therapy, and then returned to be polished up and completed. Once finished they are then sent to adorn the walls of hospitals and nursing homes. The content of the acrylic on canvas pictures includes flowers, birds, animals, and other attractive things, all brightly and cheerfully coloured.
This Marketing Agency located on the Central Coast, and has run many successful local, state and national marketing campaigns. Chris Golden is the CEO. The photograph of him on the website is quite formal, but in real life he is very friendly and approachable, and filled with lots of wisdom and commonsense. Anyone who takes the time to seek advice from him will find that time well spent.
Gary and Viv Hallett are the talented artisans who ran this business. They not only provided a full picture framing service. Together with friendly advice they also sold all the supplies necessary for DIY framing, including a greater range of matt board than Eckersley's. They arranged to courier artworks to Art Competitions and Shows. As well as the Picture Framing courses Gary ran through Central Coast Community College, he also took on private students. Sadly, Gary died of cancer on 27 April 2012. May he rest in peace. Viv is still the best go-to person for advice on matt-board and frame matching for artworks.
K.W.Doggett Fine Paper
The vast majority of art supply shops only stock a limited range of paper. Doggett Fine Paper is the place to go to find an enormous range of good quality paper. In our search for paper that suits Vincent's ink and pencil work they have been amazingly helpful.

This was the first commercial gallery to hang Vincent's work. Dawn and Shirley are the duo who took up the opportunity provided by Create Innovate Gosford City. On 18 April 2011 they opened the gallery to the public for the first time, showcasing locally made art, craft and giftware. They are no longer trading. www.honeydewgallery.com.au
